Frisbee Enterprise

Frisbee Enterprise is a server based solution and an ideal choice for organizations that need to manage their transcription workflow from one simple interface.

How does it work? Frisbee Enterprise runs on an in house server, or an outside server source.  Each dictation author and each transcriptionist working in your organization obtains a login for the server based Frisbee Enterprise portal.  Through this portal the authors deposit their dictations, and transcriptionists withdraw dictations.  By configuring the personal settings for each user, an administrator can systematically organize and streamline the entire transcription process.  Authors never have to worry about manually uploading or sending dictations again, and transcriptionists will never have to search for or manually retrieve dictations again.

Give administrators a means of configuring a detailed and streamlined transcription workflow.

Frisbee Enterprise enables administrators to:

  • Identify approved dictation authors
  • Control user settings
  • Designate specific dictation devices for dictation authors
  • Label dictations with specific formats (attach other files to dictations etc.)
  • Set deadlines for dictation transcription
  • Track progress of transcriptions
  • Create dictation channels ensuring that appropriate transcriptionists, or pool of transcriptionists (first available) receive jobs
  • Save dictations on server
  • Designate when transcriptions are considered complete

Give authors the freedom to dictate with their device of choice.

All Frisbee products are designed to work with digital dictation devices from almost all of the leading manufactures including Philips, Grundig, PowerMic, Sanyo, and Olympus.  This compatibility allows users to continue dictating with their preferred device while maximizing the functionality of that device.

Dictate directly into Frisbee Enterprise with the built in audio player and recorder.

Users can dictate directly into Frisbee by using their microphone of choice and Frisbee’s built in audio player/recorder.  Authors can even navigate through the audio player/recorder with the microphone functions by configuring the microphone settings within Frisbee Enterprise.  After dictating, the author can replay, rewind, fast-forward, and edit the dictation all inside of Frisbee.  Frisbee will then save the dictation and send it to the appropriate recipient.

Dictate and send dictations remotely via a Smartphone or the internet.

Authors can dictate via their Blackberry, iPhone or other Smartphone when they’re on the go, and then send the recording directly to the Frisbee interface.  Authors can also dictate directly via Internet Explorer with their dictation microphone, or load dictations from their portable dictation machine and send them to the Frisbee Enterprise Server over the Internet.

Automatically deliver dictations to the appropriate transcriptionist.

All dictations are passed on to the relevant transcriptionist through administrator settings. The designated transcriptionist or transcriptionist pool receives the dictation in the Frisbee Enterprise Portal, and only sees the dictations that appear on the personal job lister.  Transcriptionists never have to manually retrieve dictations again.

Allow transcriptionists to spend more time transcribing.

Transcriptionists using Frisbee Enterprise can have a piece of mind that dictations will never have to be searched for, never be lost, never be mislabeled, and never be forgotten.  This freedom allows transcriptionists to maximize their transcribing time.

Frisbee Enterprise works on a concurrent licensing model.

Frisbee Enterprise works on a concurrent licensing model meaning an organization  needs to only purchase the amount of author and transcriptionist licenses that will be used concurrently i.e. licenses do not limit the number of users.

Frisbee Enterprise resides on a server.

Frisbee Enterprise is setup on a central server with an SQL database. Multiple sites can be created on one server. This means that an administrator can host their own server and create multiple sites depending on the organization’s size and workflow, or the organization can use Frisbee Enterprise hosted on a Frisbee reseller’s server.
