Frisbee Pro

Frisbee Pro is a workstation product that organizes the transcription and dictation processes for authors and transcriptionists by creating an avenue for sharing and organizing jobs.

How does it work? Frisbee Pro software is installed on both the dictation author’s workstation and on the transcriptionist’s workstation.  The Frisbee Pro portals are connected via Microsoft Outlook or a centralized network location.  The author can automatically upload dictations, deliver, and track them, and the transcriptionist can then retrieve the dictation, transcribe it, and send the document back to the author all within Frisbee Pro.

Create detailed, streamlined, and customized workflow for dictations and transcriptions.

Frisbee Pro is the simplest way to streamline and organize transcription processes.  Frisbee Pro puts every step of the process into one centralized place: the Frisbee Pro Portal.  Both authors and transcriptionists have their own (customizable) view of the portal.  Authors automatically deposit dictations, Frisbee Pro sends them to the transcriptionist, the transcriptionist withdraws the dictation, transcribes the dictation, and sends the transcribed document back to the author all within Frisbee Pro.  Authors can prioritize dictations, label dictations, and attach documents to dictations. 

Connect author and transcriptionist to one centralized portal.

By installing Frisbee Pro on both the dictation author’s workstation, and on the transcriptionist’s workstation an organization removes any extraneous element from the transcription process.  The author and transcriptionist both go to the same place for all things transcription.  The author deposits all dictations into Frisbee Pro, and the transcription goes to Frisbee Pro to find all dictations ready to be transcribed.  Both parties are informed by the Frisbee application of the status of the work at all times.

Give authors the freedom to dictate with their device of choice.

All Frisbee products are designed to work with digital dictation devices from almost all of the leading manufactures including Philips, Grundig, PowerMic, Sanyo, and Olympus.  This compatibility allows users to continue dictating with their preferred device while maximizing the functionality of that device.  By configuring Frisbee Pro to the device of choice authors can upload dictations by simply docking the device.  Frisbee Pro does it automatically!

Dictate directly into Frisbee Pro with the built in audio player and recorder.

Users can dictate directly into Frisbee Pro by using their microphone of choice and Frisbee’s built in audio player/recorder.  Authors can even navigate through the audio player/recorder with the microphone functions by configuring the microphone settings within Frisbee Pro.  After dictating, the author can replay, rewind, fast-forward, and edit the dictation all inside of Frisbee.  Frisbee will then save the dictation and send it to the appropriate recipient. 

Dictate and send dictations remotely via a Smartphone.

Authors can dictate via their Blackberry, iPhone or other Smartphone when they’re on the go, and then send the recording directly to the Frisbee Pro Portal .

Automatically deliver dictations to the appropriate transcriptionist.

All dictations are passed on to the relevant transcriptionist through user settings. The designated transcriptionist receives the dictation in the Frisbee Pro Portal, and only sees the dictations that appear on the personal job lister.  Transcriptionists never have to manually retrieve dictations again.

Allow transcriptionists to spend more time transcribing.

Transcriptionists using Frisbee Enterprise can have a piece of mind that dictations will never have to be searched for, never be lost, never be mislabeled, and never be forgotten.  This freedom allows transcriptionists to maximize their transcribing time.

Use Dragon speech recognition software to automatically transcribe dictations.

Frisbee Pro is fully integrated with Dragon NaturallySpeaking and Dragon Medical giving authors the option of using Dragon to transcribe the dictations.  By setting the user settings to speech recognize an author could completely automate the entire transcription process, or authors can use transcriptionists for editing and formatting allowing them to complete a multitude of more jobs a day.  Dragon will continue to increase in accuracy as it is used for more transcriptions.

Frisbee Pro licensing is simple.

Each Frisbee Pro user needs his or her own Frisbee Pro license.  Authors need an author license and transcriptionists need a transcription license.  The transcription license comes with a headset and a foot peddle both of which work seamlessly within Frisbee Pro and Dragon NaturallySpeaking and Dragon Medical.

Windows Support

Frisbee Pro is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.  Frisbee Pro uses Microsoft Outlook to connect users via e-mail.
